This is a 10-week program for college students with ADD or ADHD who are interested in learning basic strategies for improving academic performance. Topics include:
- Time management
- Procrastination
- Study skills
- Reading strategies
- Focusing strategies
- Managing emotions
- Taming technology
- And much more!!
Participants are typically 18 to 24 year-olds, but exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Candidates are screened carefully for their interest and motivation in participating in the “Life 101 & College” group since those who have been pressured by parents or others to attend seldom benefit from the program.
Students must be enrolled in an academic institution to qualify. Groups are formed on an as-needed basis, and scheduling is built around the class schedules of the participants. These groups are usually quite small (3-4) to allow individualized attention. To secure a place on the list for the next group, contact Dr. Tsukahara.
