Dr. Tsukahara provides two types of consultations: diagnostic and treatment.
DIAGNOSTIC CONSULTATIONS
Diagnostic consultations typically occur when another clinician (e.g., psychiatrist or counselor) refers a patient for diagnostic clarification or a second opinion. Diagnostic consultations are essentially Diagnostic Evaluations and are billed accordingly. After the interview, Dr. T communicates her impressions to the referring clinician by phone or a brief written report.

TREATMENT CONSULTATIONS
Treatment consultations occur when either the client or their clinician (e.g., psychiatrist, counselor) believes that input from an ADD specialist may improve the referring clinician’s treatment. Dr. T provides brief consultations with other clinicians as a courtesy. Treatment consultations that require a significant amount of time, however, are billed to the client at her consultation rate.
